Iran sentences Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe to another year in prison – BBC News

The British-Iranian aid worker Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been sentenced to a further 12 months in prison in Tehran, on charges of spreading propaganda against the Iranian regime.

In March 2021 she completed a 5-year sentence for spying – a charge she strongly denied.

Her husband has said he is bitterly disappointed at the court’s latest decision.
